Alderman and Jacobs SchoolDeputy Head TeacherAssessment and Teaching and LearningPrimary

I began teaching in 1995 and have taught in middle, secondary and primary schools during my career, holding a variety of leadership roles.  I have been Deputy Head Teacher at my current school for 4 years, where I have responsibility for achievement across the primary phase.   This involves leading teaching, learning and assessment.

I love using data to inform practice and gauge impact, and actively engage all stakeholders in this too.  Currently, I lead a team of Assistant Head Teachers and core subject leaders and enjoy leading CPD around teaching, assessment and leadership.  My aim is that teachers and leaders have the tools and skills they need so they and their pupils thrive in school, enabling the provision of quality first teaching and a collaborative culture to have maximum impact on outcomes for all.
